在阅读的世界里，
有些孩子走得慢一些。
但我们相信，只要有人愿意陪伴，他们依然能够一步一步向前走。
从2005年开始，Bold Assoc Penang 与学校及社区组织合作，为面对阅读困难的孩子提供阅读辅助教学，帮助他们建立基本的阅读能力。
这些年来，我们看见：
孩子从不敢读，到愿意开口；从认不出字，到慢慢能够阅读句子；从缺乏信心，到开始相信自己也做得到。
孩子的每一步，都值得被看见。
目前，BOLD 也持续与不同单位合作推动阅读计划，包括：
慈济教育中心（Buddhist Tzu-Chi Education Centre）、House of Hope 及 SK Taman Inderawasih。
我们相信，帮助孩子学习阅读，从来不是一个人就能完成的事。

Some children take a little longer to learn to read.
But we believe that with support and encouragement, they can move forward step by step.
Since 2005, BOLD Association for Children with Special Needs, Penang, has been working together with schools and community organisations to support children facing reading difficulties through reading intervention programmes.
Over the years, we have seen progress:
from being afraid to read, to being willing to try; from struggling to recognise words, to slowly reading sentences; from lacking confidence, to beginning to believe in themselves.
Every small step matters.
Currently, BOLD continues to work with different organisations to carry out reading programmes, including:
Buddhist Tzu-Chi Education Centre, House of Hope, and SK Inderawasih.
We believe that helping children learn to read is not something one person can do alone.

Because of you, we can continue walking alongside these children.
